Helix Wind development project in Barrio Logan, California
The first commercial application of a 2kw Helix Wind generation system will be installed at a Helix Wind development project in Barrio Logan, California. Barrio Logan, located southeast of downtown San Diego, is a redevelopment zone in which a 5,000 square foot warehouse was redeveloped into creative commercial office space. The building features complete ambient lighting with SolaTube technology, recycled wood, glass and resin and a host of other green materials and technologies. The building’s electricity consumption is partially offset by the Helix Wind energy system installed on the
roof.
